2002 cavriago, italy. "toesquid" "untamed" and "big cahuna" from germany, "automaticaminimassima" and "kyuuri" from italy rocked the stage. this is the report from interyouca.com
"Another great international event is over. Though the bands from Spain and France were not able to come the remaining six german and italian bands had no trouble giving the party an international coat of paint.
UNTAMED and BIG CAHUNA, both german opened and set high standards for the bands to follow up the next evenings. it's not easy to beat BIG CAHUNA in matters of coolness and it is nearly impossible to reach the level of speed and energy of UNTAMED.
AUTOMATICAMINIMASSIMA, second evening's opener (and who's bassist actually did beat BIG CAHUNA coolnesswise) impressed with a smooth mixture of rock and soul, performed with a lot of routine and a lot of skill.
also for the second band of the evening, TOESQUID, skill and routine is a good desciption. they really rocked the house with powerfull rockmusic.by the way: we herewith appologize again for the microphone-stand their singer sent to microphone-stand-heaven. i hope the cool people from CALAMITA, the live club in cavriago where all the concerts took place accept our appology. your stage really RULES!!!
after a day-off the youngsters from kyuury showed a good taste for music through their choice of cover songs. everybodies favorite song was played it seemed.
"jesus and the saints", an "all-star-formation" around sir stefano pantaleoni played a few final songs befor drifting off into a long and vital jam-session during which every single one of them was replaced and re-replaced by many skillfull hands out of the audience.
what a fine time we had...
